About the Rolex Daytona 116506
The 116506 is the platinum Daytona, introduced in 2013 for the model's 50th anniversary. Rolex reserves its ice blue dial for platinum watches, and the chestnut brown Cerachrom bezel makes it one of the most recognisable references in the range. It is heavier than any other Daytona and uses the calibre 4130 movement.
